Construction of asphalt cold patching materials:
1. Pit cleaning
Clean up the gravel and waste residue in and around the pit to be repaired. There shall be no mud, ice and other sundries in the pit. For the repair of municipal road works, the repaired pits and grooves shall be trimmed neatly, and the solid solid surface shall be seen for the cleaning of waste residue.
2. Fill the pit
Fill enough asphalt cold patching materials into the pit until the filler is about 1.5cm higher than the ground. For the repair of municipal roads, the input of cold repair materials can be increased by about 10% or 20%. After filling, the * in the pit shall be slightly higher than the surrounding pavement and in an arc. If the depth of the pavement pit * is greater than 5cm, it shall be filled in layers and compacted layer by layer, with each layer of 3-5cm. As the strength of cold patching material rises slightly slowly, do not pave too thick to avoid heavy load and flying material.
3. Compaction
After uniform laying, select appropriate compaction tools and methods for compaction according to the field environment, the size and depth of the repair area *. Such as manual shovel back compaction, manual compaction, vibrating plate compaction, roller compaction, etc. The compactness of ordinary road repair should reach more than 93%, and that of Expressway repair should reach more than 95%.
4. Sweep
After compaction, a layer of stone chips can be evenly spread on the surface and cleaned back and forth with cleaning tools, so that the stone chips can fill the surface gap, increase the surface compactness, prevent rain and snow infiltration, and prevent the wheel from sticking away the material particles.
5. Open traffic
The repaired pit and groove surface shall be smooth, flat and free of wheel marks. The edges and corners around the pit and groove must be compacted without looseness.
