A road roller is a type of operating machinery that utilizes mechanical self weight and vibration to repeatedly load the compacted material, overcome the cohesion and internal friction between materials, eliminate gas and water inside, force material particles to move and wedge each other tightly, increase compactness, and achieve a certain degree of compactness and flatness.
During the compaction operation of the road roller, the target should be the centerline of the roadbed and road surface, starting from the left and right sides and rolling towards the centerline one by one (the roller runs once in the longitudinal length), until the main wheel of the roller reaches the centerline. In the road, pressurize the areas where the main wheel has not yet pressed as required, that is, "first on both sides, then in the middle".
After using a small roller, it is necessary to wash away any dirt and dust on it. Special attention should be paid to the cleanliness of the diesel engine generator, starting motor, fuel injection pump, fuel injector, hydraulic pump, etc., and the surface of the hydraulic pipeline. It is best to use a dry and soft cloth to wipe these areas clean. If the roller is idle for a long time, it is not necessary to drain the water in the engine water tank, In cold winter weather, after completing work every day, the dirt and dust on the machine should be carefully cleaned. The outer surface of each component and all lubrication holes should be wiped with kerosene, and grease should be injected once. Unpainted exposed parts should be coated with butter or anti rust adhesive. So after using the small roller, we need to carry out comprehensive cleaning in order to increase its lifespan and efficiency. After use, we need to carry out comprehensive cleaning.
With the slogan of "building roads first if you want to become rich" resounding throughout China, the road decoration industry has also developed and driven the sales of small and medium-sized rollers in the mechanical industry. However, after purchasing small rollers, we will have a certain period of running in, during which many problems will arise. Let me introduce it to you!
Fast wear rate: Due to factors such as processing, assembly, and adjustment of new machine components, their friction surface is rough, the contact area of the mating surface is small, and the pressure state of the surface is uneven. During the operation of the machine, the concave and convex parts on the surface of the parts are intertwined and rubbed against each other, and the metal debris that falls off is used as abrasive to continuously participate in friction, further accelerating the wear of the mating surface of the parts. Therefore, during the running-in period, it is easy to cause wear on the parts, especially the mating surface, with a fast wear rate.
Poor lubrication: Due to the small fit clearance of newly assembled components and due to assembly reasons, it is difficult to ensure the uniformity of the fit clearance. Lubricating grease is not easy to form a uniform oil film on the friction surface to prevent wear.
Loosening: Newly processed and assembled components have deviations in geometric appearance and fitting dimensions. In the early stages of application, due to alternating loads such as impact and vibration, as well as factors such as heat and deformation, coupled with rapid wear and tear, the originally fastened components can easily become loose.
